Weekend Rides 4-5th July 2009 Test

An experiment to see if we can clarify who is going out on which ride at the weekend. There are a variety of ways of getting the info onto the blog, the best way would be to 'comment' and people can simply read the comments on the friday before the ride (I am normally in on a friday night to check the site).

Lets give it a try and see what happens, you can send any suggestions to me for improving the service. I think it will help to assess who can lead the rides, if we need a fast group as well, if there are any beginners out etc...

Sunday 5th July
MTB Ride. Cheam Station South Side 9.00am. 45 miles.

    We're not out this weekend nor the next. We're in France for the St Ybard week. Mick, Trevor, Denis, Martin, Norman, Mick Sutton, Paul Martin, Dave Elliott.

    Steve, This is a good idea particularly for the Saturday rides as it gives a guide to group size and range- but I think you should make it clear that it is still "turn up and ride" without and compulsion to "sign in" - sometimes people do not know by Friday if say Sunday will be free.

    You can commemt on any post on this blog now without setting up a Google account. This comment has been without signing in and just hitting the comments link to the right of the time of posting at the bottom of the post. I then put my name in as Steve Edgar in the 'Coomet as' box below.
